Do you wanna be there to see how I turn out.
Adapting to the changing times is an art-form itself. The way I see it, there are 3 options. You can stay consistent in your sound even as music changes around you. Or you can chase the current trends. Or you can be Kanye West, and make new trends, constantly setting an example for everyone else. I guess it's just a matter of what mark you want to leave on the world.
A fan made this gem. A brief history of Jack's behavior. @jackajrbrothers
Anyone who's interested in seeing us live is gonna be very happy very soon.
THANK YOU AUSTIN CITY LIMITS.
Just finished off a couple college shows, tomorrow: AUSTIN CITY LIMITS.
It's a shame watching so many cool unique artists blow up, only to become bland and mainstream. As AJR continues to grow, I can promise you that we're only gonna take more and more risks. Prove more and more people wrong. That's all we care about, seriously. It's way more fun to try and disturb the mainstream, than to just become part of it.
Hold on tight to the things you love most.
You are there for us, through every hurdle and every failure and every triumph. And we're there for you.
Went outside our usual sound and wrote this song with the crazy talented @iamrachelcrow . Awesome to see that it's going places
When you just played the world's greatest Jenga move.
I turned down Jameson when I was twelve. I spent that Friday night with Steve Carell.
HOW WE MADE: 'SOBER UP'
2 days ago, we played for the largest sea of AJR fans we've ever seen. We also met Rivers Cuomo from Weezer, one of our lifetime heroes. What a fucking day.
Last time we played in Atlanta, it was for 300 people. Today, this happened.
When you make it into Ben Affleck's paparazzi pic.
A quarter of a BILLION streams on Spotify. This song/album has elevated us more than we ever could have imagined. Thank you 🙏🏻
Don't try to change the 🌎. Find something that you love, do it everyday for the rest of your life, and eventually the 🌎 will change.
Don't grow up.
Starting to route our next tour. Bigger venues. Bigger everything.
HOW WE MADE: "OVERTURE"
I wanted to tell you guys something very personal. Recently I've been going through a pretty sad mental state. All my life, I've been the happy-go-lucky one among my family and friends, & in the last few months I've been working through these strange feelings. I'm not telling you this in search of pity. The reason I want you to know this is b/c I have literally found music to be my savior. For the
Thanks for reminding us what it's like to be in college, Kansas State University.
Here is a thought I had. Hope it's inspiring to someone out there. -R
I feel like many of the top A-list artists have forgotten why we're all doing this. We make music for the fans to give them a personal, profound experience. Not to stir up silly drama with other artists. It's supposed to be FOR THE FANS. We have a job to do, and there's more important shit than that. This is exactly what we wrote "Drama" about.
Something you've never seen before.
Stage-dived for the first time tonight. Thanks for catching me Missouri State University. -J
Can we skip to the good part?
Inspiring other people's artistry is the biggest victory we can achieve. You guys are crazy talented, had to share these.
I think we are the most fulfilled and truly happy when we are working. We want to make big beautiful things. Right now, we're literally in the middle of writing for AJR, producing for another artist, designing album art, and conceptualizing a video. A lot of cool, important work is coming soon guys.

THE DEVELOPMENT OF "THE CLICK" ARTWORK. It all started with a sketch we made on the back of a receipt. Then @johnlorenart brought it to life, as we tried to visually transport the audience into our strange minds.
This is our neighbor and he can't wait for us to come back from tour. @tacoandchalupa

We worked with @spotify on two #SpotifySingles - a fresh take on Drama & a cover of @thegr8khalid 's Location. Enjoy.
Sold out our second tour in a row. We always say "this doesn't feel real." I think it just started to feel real.
